@Chanikya2, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand your HP printer is making sounds but not printing properly, while scanning works fine. Let's work together to resolve this issue.

Check Ink or Toner Levels

  • Low or empty cartridges can cause faint or partial prints.
  • On the printer control panel or HP Smart app, check ink/toner levels.
  • Replace any low or empty cartridges.

Clean the Printhead (Inkjet Printers)

  • A clogged printhead can cause blurry or incomplete prints.
  • Use the printer’s built-in cleaning tool:
    • On the printer control panel: Setup > Tools > Clean Printhead
    • Or via HP Smart app: Printer Settings > Print Quality Tools > Clean Printhead

Check Paper and Print Settings

  • Ensure you're using the correct paper type and size.
  • In the print dialog box, verify:
    • Paper size = A4
    • Print quality = Normal or Best
    • Paper type = Plain (or as appropriate)

Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers

  • Outdated or corrupted drivers can cause printing issues.
  • Download the latest drivers from the HP website: Official HP® Support

Reset the Printer

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from power.
  • Wait 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
