@Chanikya2, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand your HP printer is making sounds but not printing properly, while scanning works fine. Let's work together to resolve this issue.
Check Ink or Toner Levels
- Low or empty cartridges can cause faint or partial prints.
- On the printer control panel or HP Smart app, check ink/toner levels.
- Replace any low or empty cartridges.
Clean the Printhead (Inkjet Printers)
- A clogged printhead can cause blurry or incomplete prints.
- Use the printer’s built-in cleaning tool:
- On the printer control panel: Setup > Tools > Clean Printhead
- Or via HP Smart app: Printer Settings > Print Quality Tools > Clean Printhead
Check Paper and Print Settings
- Ensure you're using the correct paper type and size.
- In the print dialog box, verify:
- Paper size = A4
- Print quality = Normal or Best
- Paper type = Plain (or as appropriate)
Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers
- Outdated or corrupted drivers can cause printing issues.
- Download the latest drivers from the HP website: Official HP® Support
Reset the Printer
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from power.
- Wait 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
