-I've had my printer for 6 weeks and it worked well until a few days ago.
-Now, when I send a document to print, the information light blinks and the red X lights up. When I open HP Smart, it says that the printer cannot print because it is not connected to the internet.
-If I press the blinking information light on the printer, the document WILL print, then an information page will print after it. The information report says that the printer is connected to the wifi and that the signal is very good. It reports no problems.
-If I open HP smart when I have not sent a document to the printer, it says that my printer is ready and reports no problems.
-I've used the print and scan doctor, unplugged everything, uninstalled and reinstalled everything, and am still having the problem. I called tech support and got a guy who worked on it for 2 hours and didn't know how to fix it.

Hi @BeckyD78,
I'd like to help with the printer connectivity issue.
If the information light is blinking white, press to confirm a connection attempt from other devices.
If it is amber (possibly blinking), it indicates an HP Instant Ink warning or error. Press the button to print an information page, check the HP Instant Ink section for diagnostic results, and then follow the instructions on the page.
Try the below suggestions -
Reset the product
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Wait at least 60 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.
Set a manual IP-
To set a manual IP and try the steps below -
Press Information button and Resume button at the same time. to print the network configuration page
--->Open a web browser (ex Chrome or Mozilla) and type in the printer's IP
--->then go to network ---> general ---> network protocols ---> select IPV4 only-->apply
--->go to wireless ---> wireless 802.11---> select manual ip ---> apply
--->Enter 8.8.8.8 for the first DNS and 8.8.4.4 for the second DNS.
--->then go to settings on the main ews page --> power management ---> select sleep mode to max 15min
Also, try updating the printer's firmware -HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
