HP Deskjet 3050 All-in-One Printer - J610a
macOS 12.0 Monterey

My printer used to connect to my old wireless network, but does not connect to my Verizon FIOS router now. I've tried over and over to no avail. HP provides zero customer support because the printer is out of warranty. Should it not be possible to connect printers to the network even when they are out of warranty? What a horrible company, next time I'll definitly avoid HP printers.

You are going to have problems with MacOS.  Try this

I looked at this list

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201311

and neither the 3050 nor the J610 are listed as compatible.  The printer should connect to WiFi

The WPS pushbutton method is described on page 35
