@Meme108, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you're looking to change the Wi-Fi network your HP printer is connected to (for example, after getting a new router), you don’t need to do a full new setup, just update the wireless settings. Here are a few easy ways to do it:
Use the HP Smart App (Recommended)
- Download or open the HP Smart app on your smartphone or computer.
- Make sure your device is connected to the new Wi-Fi network.
- Open the app and select your printer.
- Go to Printer Settings > Advanced Settings (or Wi-Fi Settings).
- Choose Wireless Setup Wizard or Wi-Fi Setup, and follow the prompts to connect to the new network.
Use the Printer Control Panel
If your printer has a touchscreen:
- On the printer, go to Setup > Network Setup > Wireless Settings.
- Select Wireless Setup Wizard.
- Choose your new Wi-Fi network from the list and enter the password.
If your printer does not have a touchscreen:
- You can use Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) if your router supports it. Press the WPS button on your router, then press and hold the Wireless button on your printer until it starts blinking.
Restore Network Settings and Reconnect
- Reset the printer’s network settings:
- On most HP printers, press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons together for 5 seconds.
- Reconnect using the HP Smart app or Wireless Setup Wizard.
