Hi @Nmoylibr1,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To connect your HP LaserJet MFP M234sdw printer to a new Wi-Fi network, you can follow these steps:
1. Reset Network Settings (Optional)
If you want to start fresh, you can reset the network settings:
- On the printer’s control panel, navigate to Setup (the gear icon).
- Go to Network Setup.
- Select Restore Network Defaults.
2. Connect to New Wi-Fi Network
Access Wireless Setup Wizard:
- On the printer control panel, go to Setup > Network Setup > Wireless Settings.
- Select Wireless Setup Wizard. The printer will search for available networks.
Select Your New Wi-Fi Network:
- From the list of available networks, select your new Wi-Fi network.
Enter Wi-Fi Password:
- Enter the password for your new Wi-Fi network when prompted. Make sure to enter it correctly, as it is case-sensitive.
Confirmation:
- After entering the password, the printer will attempt to connect to the network. A confirmation message should appear once connected.
3. Install/Update Printer Software
After connecting to the new network, make sure your computer has the latest HP printer software installed:
- Download and install the latest software from the HP Support website.
4. Add Printer to Your Computer
Once the printer is connected to the new Wi-Fi:
- On your computer, go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
- Click Add a printer or scanner and follow the prompts to add your HP LaserJet MFP M234sdw.
5. Use the HP Smart App (Optional)
You can also use the HP Smart app to manage your printer:
- Download the HP Smart app from the Microsoft Store or your mobile app store.
- Open the app and follow the instructions to add your printer.
6. Test the Connection
Print a test page to ensure everything is working correctly.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
