Product: Office Jet Pro 8025e
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Recently upgraded my company laptop to Windows 10 and purchased a new home office printer.  Unfortunately, my company does not allow external software to be downloaded on the laptop.  I'm also unable to download the necessary printer drivers needed due to company policy.  Is there any solution around this problem so that I can print at home or am I just out of luck, never to be able to print at home again?  My IT department has no suggestions.

Printer (any) alone is a piece of junk with plastics and few other materials. It needs software called driver and / or firmware. 

 

I did mention company policy few times on this forum. I actually had to send email to my loan HP printers to print. When they discovered I used back door they stopped me when I clicked Send.

 

They also stopped all of us to copy file to USB by disabled all USB ports, except for keyboards and mice. I'm a retiree now.

 

Now up to you, you have to use back door (if available) because no software printer is a piece of junk.
