Product: HP ENVY 6430e All-in-One Printer
Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

Every time I want to use the printer, I need to use HP Smart app to reconnect it to WiFi. 

 

I can 'see' the printer in the HP Smart App, but cannot activate it. Cannot add the printer using the Apple in-house method (which is usually flawless). Once it has timed out after a printing session I need to start all over again. Needlessly infuriating - it has one job to do, but instead it sulks.

 

The complete lack of a display means you have to figure out what each sequence of pulsing lights means. Since I am not synesthesic, this is tricky.

 

I think this has been designed by folks who manufacture, and sell medicine for high blood pressure.

My printer is the HP ENVY 6455e and it is never on-line.  I have to reboot my Wi-Fi router every time i want to print a page.  How do i fix this once and for all?
