Common problems for Connectivity Issues

I cannot print from my laptop, and when i go to the settings for printers, it states that the printer is offline.  My Wi Fi address on the printer is different from the Network address.  I believe the only solution is to "Restore Network Defaults" on my printer.  I wish to make sure this is the solution, and also what i will need to do after the reset is completed.

Hi,

Please click the Ethernet or Wireless icon and then the gear / Settings button.

Look for Advanced Settings and then IP Settings, confirm any prompt and change the DHCP setting to Automatic / DHCP, then check for any difference.

 

If you experience further issues, restore the network settings as listed below, for a wireless connection follow the Wireless Setup Wizard to reconnect the printer:
