Network printer security standards

Hi all,

Do any of you have an overview of what security standards should be used with today's network printers.
Important to me are the device settings, so e.g. Scan to Folder via SMBv3.
How should e.g. Scan to Email be encrypted?
But also what disk encryption should be enabled by default.
I would be very grateful if someone could help me here, thank you.
