Hello,
Hope you are good. I wonder how I should do when I change a new network with new username and password? I have forget how I change that in my HP-smart APP. How I can change my printer-network.

To change the network settings for your HP DeskJet 2720e All-In-One Printer using the HP Smart app, follow these steps.
Using the HP Smart App (Mobile)
Open HP Smart App:
- Ensure you have the HP Smart app installed on your mobile device.
- Open the HP Smart app.
Prepare Printer for Wi-Fi Setup:
- Make sure your printer is turned on.
- Restore the printer's network settings to default. To do this, press and hold the Wireless button (or the Wireless icon) on the printer until the light blinks. This should take about 3 seconds.
Add a New Printer:
- In the HP Smart app, tap on the "+" sign to add a new printer.
- The app should search for printers in setup mode. When your printer appears, select it.
Connect to New Network:
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your new Wi-Fi network.
- Enter the new network's SSID (network name) and password when prompted.
Complete the Setup:
- The app will configure the printer with the new network settings. This might take a few minutes.
- Once the printer is connected to the new network, the app will confirm the connection.
Using the HP Smart App (Desktop)
Open HP Smart App:
- Ensure you have the HP Smart app installed on your computer.
- Open the HP Smart app.
Prepare Printer for Wi-Fi Setup:
- Make sure your printer is turned on.
- Restore the printer's network settings to default by pressing and holding the Wireless button (or the Wireless icon) until the light blinks.
Add a New Printer:
- In the HP Smart app, click on the "+" sign to add a new printer.
- The app will search for printers in setup mode. Select your printer when it appears.
Connect to New Network:
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your new Wi-Fi network.
- Enter the new network's SSID and password when prompted.

Complete the Setup:
- The app will configure the printer with the new network settings. Wait for the process to complete.
- Once connected, the app will confirm the printer is on the new network.
Alternative Method: Using the Printer's Embedded Web Server (EWS)
Connect to Printer's Wi-Fi Direct:
- Turn on Wi-Fi Direct on your printer by pressing the Wireless button and the Information button together.
- On your computer or mobile device, connect to the printer's Wi-Fi Direct network. The network name (SSID) and password are usually printed on the printer’s info sheet.
Access EWS:
- Open a web browser and type 192.168.223.1 in the address bar to access the printer's EWS.
Change Network Settings:
- Go to the Network or Wireless settings section.
- Select the option to set up a wireless connection.
- Enter your new network's SSID and password.
Save and Restart:
- Save the settings and restart the printer if necessary.
Following these steps should help you change the network settings for your HP DeskJet 2720e All-In-One Printer using the HP Smart app or the printer's Embedded Web Server.
