Able to print with wired connection. When I try to setup the WiFi is continually fails????   How can you tell if WiFi is enabled or Not.  Not getting any visuals... I have pressed the Wifi button on the back but can't tell if it has done anything!

Thanks,

Cindy

@EllieMae4, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

If the Lightbar glows blue-white in the center, the printer is idle and connected to a wireless network or is connected to a device through a Wi-Fi Direct connection. You do not need to take any action.

To know how to connect the printer to the wireless network, kindly refer to this document - Wireless Printer Setup

  • Make sure the printer and the PC are connected to the same wireless network.
  • If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both the networks.
  • Also, check with your Internet service provider if your router is able to forward 'Bonjour packets'.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
