Good day,

I am using the printer on a local wifi network for home supporting multiple devices. I have no need or desire to print if it am not connected to wifi nor do I need HP to advise on ordering supplies. For security purposes I prefer to have these disabled.

Using the printer service (accessing via browser using IP) I have disabled Air Print. I believe this removes capability to print remotely. Can someone please advise what else I may need to configure / disable to eliminate any remaining direct access between the printer and internet?

Thank you

Hi @sjq-22,

I'd like to help!

Turn off printer notifications

Select a printer, and, at the top of the window, click Print server properties. From the Advanced tab, uncheck Show informational notifications for local printers and Show informational notifications for network printers. Click OK

Turn off web services, refer to Turning Off Web Services

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
