How do I adjust the paper-length in the paper tray when only using 8 1/2 X 11 paper? I see no directions in ppwrk that came with this new unit.

I'd like to help!

I understand you would know how to adjust the paper guides in the paper tray.

Follow the below instructions-

CAUTION: Do not load multiple types of paper in the input tray, and never load paper while the printer is printing.

Load plain or legal-size paper

Load plain paper in the input tray.

1. Pull out the input tray, and then slide out the paper-width guides.

   

2. To load legal-size paper, press and hold the tray extender button near the front left of the tray, and then pull the input tray to extend it.

   

3. Load a stack of paper (no more than 250 sheets) into the input tray, and then push the stack into the tray until it stops.

   

4. Make sure the stack of paper aligns with the paper stack guide on the front of the input tray.

   

5. Slide in the paper-width guides until they touch the edge of the stack of paper.

   

6. Push the input tray into the printer.

   

Before you print, make sure to select the correct paper size or media type in the print job settings.
