My house got a new router and I am trying to re-connect my printer to wifi. I have the HP smart app on my computer but I cannot find where to connect the printer. When I press "search printer" it doesn't come up.

Are you sure that the printer is properly connected to your new network? If not, you should put the printer into initial wifi setup mode which will be just like the first time you connected the printer https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printers-Knowledge-Base/Wi-Fi-connection-is-lost-after-router-or-netwo...

Also keep in mind that some newer routers may have issues communicating with printers that do not support current 5Ghz communication. They will look connected but will not work. Best solution is to configure the 2.4Ghz channel with a unique SSID and only allow the printer to connect on that channel.
