Sure! Here’s how to connect your HP OfficeJet 7612 printer to your new internet provider:
Step 1: Reset Network Settings
- Power On the Printer: Ensure your printer is turned on.
- Access the Control Panel: On the printer's control panel, press the Wireless button (it may look like a wireless signal icon).
- Restore Network Defaults: Navigate to Setup > Network > Restore Network Settings. Confirm to reset the network settings to factory defaults.
Step 2: Connect to New Wi-Fi Network
Wireless Setup Wizard:
- On the printer's control panel, go to Setup > Network > Wireless Setup Wizard.
- The printer will search for available networks.
Select Your Network:
- Choose your new Wi-Fi network from the list of available networks.
Enter Wi-Fi Password:
- When prompted, enter the Wi-Fi password (case-sensitive). Make sure it’s correct to avoid connection issues.
Step 3: Install HP Smart App (Optional)
Download the App:
- If you haven't done so, download the HP Smart app from the Google Play Store (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS).
Add the Printer:
- Open the HP Smart app and tap the + icon to add your printer. The app should detect your printer if it’s connected to the same network.
Step 4: Print a Test Page
- Print a Test Page:
- After connecting, print a test page to ensure everything is working properly. You can do this from the printer's control panel under the Print Reports option.
