Hi @Spain2029,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To connect your printer to a new WiFi network, you'll need to update its settings so it can recognize and connect to the new network. Here’s a general guide on how to do this:
1. Access Printer Settings
- Via Printer's Control Panel: Most modern printers have a screen and control panel. Navigate to the network settings or WiFi settings from there.
- Via Printer Software on Computer: Open the printer’s software on your computer. There should be an option for network settings.
2. Find the Wireless Setup Option
- Look for an option like “Wireless Setup,” “Network Setup,” or “WiFi Setup.” This is usually found under the settings or tools menu.
3. Select the New Network
- Your printer will scan for available networks. Select your new WiFi network from the list.
- You might be prompted to enter the new WiFi password. Make sure to input it correctly.
4. Confirm and Apply Settings
- After entering the password, confirm and apply the settings. The printer should then attempt to connect to the new network.
5. Print a Network Configuration Page (Optional)
- Some printers have an option to print a network configuration page which can help you verify that the printer is connected to the new network.
6. Reinstall or Update Printer on Computer (If Needed)
- On your computer, you might need to reinstall or update the printer to ensure it’s connected to the new network. Go to the "Printers & Scanners" settings on your computer and follow the prompts to add the printer again.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
