@Ollieb1, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer not connecting to the new Wi-Fi!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

It sounds like your HP DeskJet 4120e is having trouble connecting to the new Wi-Fi network after switching broadband providers. Try these steps to reconnect your printer:

1. Reset the Network Settings on the Printer

  • Press and hold the Wireless button (🛜) and the Cancel button (X) together for 5 seconds until the Wireless light starts blinking.
  • This will reset the printer's Wi-Fi settings.

2. Reconnect the Printer to Wi-Fi

  • Download and open the HP Smart app on your computer or smartphone.
  • Click Set up a new printer and follow the on-screen instructions.
  • When prompted, select your new Wi-Fi network and enter the password.

3. Manually Connect Using WPS (If Supported)

  • Press and hold the Wireless button (🛜) on the printer until the light starts blinking.
  • Press the WPS button on your router within 2 minutes.
  • The printer should connect automatically.

4. Add the Printer to Your Devices

  • On Windows: Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners, then click Add a printer or scanner.
  • On Mac: Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, then click + to add the printer.

If you still face issues, let me know the error message you’re seeing! 😊

Take care, and have an amazing day!
