HP Recommended

Recently had our wifi upgraded at our home. The new network has a different name than the original network.  Tried to connect to the new network through the computer and also the app and having no luck. The instructions say to press the wireless setup button on the back and then hold infomation button for 3 seconds until all buttons are lit, and then press the information button again and it will print the wifi connection information. I do all of that and nothing prints. I have tried to reset it from the HP app as well but it is unable to connect without it being hooked up to internet. The router is too far away to physically run an ethernet cable. It was not this difficult to connect to wifi the first time. I'm at a loss and about to junk this thing.
