HI @ds246,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you're having trouble connecting your HP ENVY 5534 printer and HP laptop to your new Voneus fiber broadband network. Here’s a systematic approach to troubleshoot and resolve the connectivity issues:
1. Verify Network Settings
- Check Network Name (SSID) and Password:
- Make sure you are using the correct network name and password for your Voneus fiber broadband. Sometimes, the network settings can be slightly different after switching providers.
2. Printer Configuration
Reset Printer Network Settings:
- On your HP ENVY 5534, go to the printer’s control panel and navigate to Setup > Network Setup > Restore Network Settings. This will reset your network settings to default.
Reconnect to Network:
- After resetting, reconnect your printer to the Voneus network by going to Setup > Network > Wireless Setup Wizard. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your Voneus network and enter the password.
3. Printer Firmware Update
- Update Printer Firmware:
- Sometimes connectivity issues can be resolved with a firmware update. Visit the HP support website, search for your HP ENVY 5534 model, and download the latest firmware. Follow the instructions to install it.
4. Check Router Settings
Router Compatibility:
- Ensure that your Voneus router is set up to use the 2.4 GHz band, as many printers have trouble connecting to 5 GHz networks. You may need to log into your router’s settings page and check if both bands are enabled.
Network Isolation Settings:
- Some routers have settings that isolate devices from each other on the network. Make sure that client isolation or AP isolation is turned off.
5. Network Configuration on Windows 11
Forget and Reconnect to Network:
- On your Windows 11 laptop, go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi > Manage known networks. Find your Voneus network, click Forget, and then reconnect by selecting the network and entering the password again.
Update Network Drivers:
- Go to Device Manager (right-click the Start button and select Device Manager), expand Network adapters, right-click your Wi-Fi adapter, and select Update driver. Choose to search automatically for updated driver software.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
