Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I see this fault all the time but never see the fix

My printer has suddenly lost any functionality related to printing wirelessly.  There are no menu options related to wireless printing (except wireless direct, which is enabled) and the printer is requesting an ethernet cable.

I have tried all the steps that have been recommended by the Virtual Agent.  Since this is a wireless issue, the HP Print and Scan Doctor and HP Smart cannot see the printer so they are worthless.

The HP Network Configuration page states that the wireless function has been disabled.  I'm not sure how or why this has happened.  I have seen 2 posts with no solution.  If anybody has found a solution, please post it here.  Thank you!!”

Hi@Roorichey01,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you are experiencing Wi-Fi issues with the HP OfficeJet All-In-One Printer.

I have a few recommendations

  • First, try restarting your computer, printer and wireless router. To check if your printer is connected to your network: Print a Wireless Network Test report from the printer control panel. On many printers pressing the Wireless button allows direct access to printing this report.
  • Make sure paper is loaded in the main tray, and then turn on the printer. From the Wireless or Setup menu, select Network setup or Settings, and then select Restore Network Settings. Get the network name and password. Go to Find the wireless network password or PIN to connect an HP printer for more information.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
