Hi @LIZ7714,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP LaserJet M209dwe printer isn't connecting to your Wi-Fi after moving, try these steps.

Check Wi-Fi Network: Ensure your Wi-Fi network is working properly and that you're trying to connect to the correct network.

Restart Devices: Restart your router, printer, and any devices you're using to set up the printer.

Reconnect Printer to Wi-Fi:

  • Control Panel: On the printer's control panel, go to the Wireless menu or Network settings.
  • Wi-Fi Setup Wizard: Select the option to set up a new wireless connection or Wi-Fi setup wizard.
  • Select Network: Choose your Wi-Fi network from the list and enter the password if prompted.

Use HP Smart App:

  • Download and install the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
  • Open the app and follow the instructions to add your printer and connect it to Wi-Fi.

Reset Network Settings:

  • On the printer, navigate to the Network settings and look for an option to reset network settings or restore default settings.
  • After resetting, try setting up the wireless connection again.

Update Printer Firmware: Ensure your printer's firmware is up-to-date. You might need to connect it via USB to a computer temporarily to update the firmware if it's not connecting wirelessly.

Check Wireless Signal: Make sure the printer is within range of your Wi-Fi network. Sometimes, moving the printer closer to the router can help.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
