HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e All-in-One Printer

The problems with wireless connectivity are constant and frustrating to the point where I want to throw my printer out the window and see it smatter into a thousand pieces. Just try to contact customer service. Worse, is the chatterbot, which is poorly tuned and poorly trained on whatever garbage data HP is feeding it. Despite entering the serial number numerous times, it always says it's not valid. And god forbid HP would ever give you a phone number to actually talk to a human being.

I understand the wireless connectivity issues and the customer service challenges. Here’s a step-by-step approach to tackle the wireless connectivity problem with your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e:
 

Check the Basics:

  • Ensure your printer is within range of your Wi-Fi router.
  • Verify that your router is working properly and that no other devices are having issues connecting to it.

Update Firmware: Update the firmware on an HP printer

  • Check if there's a firmware update available for your printer. Updates can fix bugs and improve connectivity.

Network Settings:

  • Reset your printer's network settings to factory defaults and set up the Wi-Fi connection again.
  • You can usually do this from the printer’s control panel or web interface.

Printer and Router Restart:

  • Restart your printer, router, and any other network devices to clear any temporary issues.

HP Smart App:

  • Ensure you have the latest version of the HP Smart app. Sometimes issues arise from outdated software.
  • Reinstall the app if needed and try setting up the printer again.

Check for Interference:

  • Other electronic devices or thick walls might cause interference. Try moving the printer closer to the router.

Manual IP Address Configuration:
