Trying to set up wi fi connection to this printer & get the message:printer does not support this wi fi network.  Use a Windows or Mac computer to set up. I own neither. Our ISP is telstra on nbn on a cattle station in outback NT.

A beer, which I will drink for you, to all possible solutions except buy a computer. 🙂

HP DeskJet 2721e.

I have tried installing with Samsung Galaxy S22+ phone & S9 ultra tablet.

Both were connected to our wireless internet network.

NBN service via telstra.

Hi @Red-head,

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

Make sure, your printer and your device are on the same network as 2.4GHZ only.

You may refer to this document and see if that helps.

Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!

The printer & network still do not want to talk to each other.

I have more pressing problems than this waste of money printer. When I have finished with our current spate of bushfire I will do the 300km round trip to town & get my printing done at the library.
