Not printing blue internet light is flashing

Hi @Sue4509,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I understand that the printer is not connected and the blue Wireless light is flashing.

To help us provide the correct connection steps, please confirm:

  • What is the exact printer model?
  • What happens when you try to connect or print, and what exact error message appears?
  • Are you connecting from a Windows computer, Mac, Android phone, iPhone, or another device?
  • Are you using the HP app, and does it detect the printer?
  • Does the printer display an error such as E1, E2, E3, E4, or another letter-and-number combination?
  • Are you connecting the printer to a new router, or were the Wi-Fi name or password recently changed?

A flashing blue Wireless light generally requires model-specific connection troubleshooting. Once you provide the exact printer model, the error shown, and the device being used, we can provide the correct HP wireless setup or network-reset steps.

Please do not share the printer’s serial number or Wi-Fi password publicly.

Take care and have a good day.

I'm an HP Employee.
