HP DESKJET 2700

Will not allow me to print over wifi connection. Printer is connected to internet, same with computer and phone. When I try to reset up the printer, it will not let me finish the setup on the HP app.

Hi @Charlieboy3,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP printer is not printing or connecting to the printer, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can follow.

  • Check the connection: Make sure your printer is properly connected to your computer or network. Ensure that all cables are properly plugged in and your printer is turned on.
  • Check the printer status: Check if there are any error messages on the printer's display. Also, check the printer's status in the Control Panel or Printer Settings. Ensure that your printer is set as the default printer.
  • Restart your printer and computer: Sometimes, a simple restart can fix the problem. Turn off your printer and computer, wait a few seconds, and then turn them on again.
  • Update drivers: Make sure you have the latest drivers for your printer installed. You can download the latest drivers from the HP website.
  • Clear print queue: Sometimes, a print job can get stuck in the print queue, causing the printer to stop responding. Clear the print queue and try printing again.
  • Disable firewall/antivirus: Sometimes, the firewall or antivirus software can block the printer from connecting to your computer. Disable your firewall or antivirus temporarily and try printing again.
  • Reset the printer: If none of the above steps work, you can try resetting your printer to its default settings.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
