Hi @9012E1,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e All-in-One Printer is showing as offline, you can try the following steps to get it back online:

1. Check Printer Connection

  • Wired Connection: Ensure the USB or Ethernet cable is securely connected to both the printer and the computer or router.
  • Wireless Connection: Make sure the printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network. Print a network configuration page from the printer’s menu to verify this.

2. Restart Devices

  • Printer: Turn off the printer, wait for 30 seconds, and then turn it back on.
  • Computer: Restart your computer.
  • Router: Restart your router or modem.

3. Set Printer to Default

  • On your computer, go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  • Right-click on your printer and select Set as default printer.

4. Update Printer Drivers

  • Go to the HP Support website and download the latest drivers for your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e.
  • Install the drivers and follow the setup instructions.

5. Check Printer Status

  • Open the HP Smart app or Printers & Scanners settings on your computer.
  • Ensure the printer status is set to Online. If it’s set to Offline, try clicking Troubleshoot or Fix.

6. Clear Printer Queue

  • On your computer, go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  • Right-click on your printer and select See what's printing.
  • Cancel any pending print jobs and try printing a test page.

7. Network Settings

  • Ensure your printer is on the same network as your computer. Check the network settings on the printer’s control panel.

8. Check Printer Firmware Update the firmware on an HP printer

  • Make sure your printer’s firmware is up to date. You can usually update the firmware via the printer’s control panel or through the HP Smart app.

9. Reinstall Printer

  • If none of the above steps work, uninstall and then reinstall the printer. You can do this from Control Panel > Devices and Printers by right-clicking the printer and selecting Remove device. Then add the printer again.
