Product: HP OfficeJet 5255 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

My network is powered by Comcast/Xfininty (xFi Advanced Gateway XB6). Most of my devices are Apple (Only one Windows PC connected to the network), and all are wifi connected. All my devices IPs start with 10.... This HP 5255 changes its IP every time it is connected to the network. I wifi connect it using the WPS button on the gateway, and at first the printer connects and displays an 10.... IP. Then, minutes later it display "updating..." and changes its IP to a 192... IP, which is not recognized nor "seem" by my Mac. In System Preference, Printers & Scanners, that printer shows a red dot afterwards. I don't want to add it using that IP, because it restricts some functions. What can I do to make that 5255 to keep the 10....IP without changing it?
