Product: HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus e-All-in-One Printer - N911g
just got Century Link fiber with a C4000 modem and my HP OfficeJet sees the wireless network but the password doesn't work. I tried:
- changing the password to all letters and removed special chars and numbers (also tried original pwrd)
- changed wifi security encryption from WPA2 to WPA-WPA2 (also tried just WPA2)
- Manually entered password, used the WSA button shortcut on the wireless setup wizard and modem.
Steps:
enter wireless network setup on the printer. Finds the wifi network. either enter the pwrd manually or use the shortcut. Tries for a minute or so, then either goes back to the network list with no error (if using the shortcut button) or says the password is incorrect, which it is not.
At my wits end here
