I have an officejet 8600 Plus. Worked flawlessly for the last 12 years and still works great. Except web services are no longer available and will not activate. I've tried on the printer, on the windows 10 computer but it keeps saying it wont initiate.
I've tried turning router, computer and printer off and on, and I've removed and reinstalled software with no fix. When I've tried to install today a fresh copy of the software its installed a driver for an Officejet 8610 plus but when you try to run the software it wont find the printer.
And to rub salt into the wound I now cannot install Hp Smart on my iphone as it wants a claim code which I can't get as there's no web services available.
PLEASE HELP!!!

Unfortunately non of these suggestions are helping. Web services just will not work. Ive tried on the printer. I've tried the Hp Smart app on my iPhone. I've also tried the printer ip address. I just keep getting that it will not enable.
If I try to log into my Hp account in windows and I keep getting the need to add claim code before I can proceed. But if I load The Hp smart app it finds my printer.
Also If I try to load the driver off Hp's website it downloads a driver for an 8610 officejet but once thats installed it cannot locate my printer, so this driver must be incorrect. Or am I missing something?
