@2B21, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To delete or disable Wi-Fi Direct on your HP DeskJet 2852e All-in-One Printer, follow these steps:

Method 1: Disable Wi-Fi Direct from the Printer Control Panel

  1. Turn on the printer and ensure it is connected to your network.
  2. Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button together for about 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi Direct light turns off.
    • This will disable Wi-Fi Direct.

Method 2: Disable Wi-Fi Direct from the Embedded Web Server (EWS)

  1. Find the printer’s IP address:
    • Print a Network Configuration Page by pressing and holding the Information button (⚠) for about 3 seconds.
    • Look for the IP address in the printed document.
  2. Open a web browser (Chrome, Edge, etc.) on your computer.
  3. Enter the IP address in the browser’s address bar and press Enter.
  4. The HP Embedded Web Server (EWS) page will open.
  5. Go to Network > Wi-Fi Direct settings.
  6. Disable Wi-Fi Direct and Save changes.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
