@2B21, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To delete or disable Wi-Fi Direct on your HP DeskJet 2852e All-in-One Printer, follow these steps:
Method 1: Disable Wi-Fi Direct from the Printer Control Panel
- Turn on the printer and ensure it is connected to your network.
- Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button together for about 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi Direct light turns off.
- This will disable Wi-Fi Direct.
Method 2: Disable Wi-Fi Direct from the Embedded Web Server (EWS)
- Find the printer’s IP address:
- Print a Network Configuration Page by pressing and holding the Information button (⚠) for about 3 seconds.
- Look for the IP address in the printed document.
- Open a web browser (Chrome, Edge, etc.) on your computer.
- Enter the IP address in the browser’s address bar and press Enter.
- The HP Embedded Web Server (EWS) page will open.
- Go to Network > Wi-Fi Direct settings.
- Disable Wi-Fi Direct and Save changes.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
