The flashing orange light on an HP printer could indicate several issues. Here are some common reasons and steps to troubleshoot.

 

  • Paper Jam: If there is a paper jam in the printer, the orange light may flash. To resolve this issue, turn off the printer and carefully remove any jammed paper.
  • Ink/Toner Cartridge Issue: If the ink or toner cartridge is low or empty, the printer may not function properly, and the light may flash. Try replacing the cartridge and see if the issue resolves.
  • Connectivity Issue: The orange light may also indicate a connectivity issue. Check the USB or Ethernet cable and ensure it is connected securely.
