RE: PURCHASE ORDER NBR/NUMERO DE COMMAND SCE028204408
I JUST PURCHASED THIS HP 7605 DIRECTLY FROM THE FRENCH HP STORE/WEB SITE WITH THE IDEA OF USING THE 'OUT-OF-WARRANTY' VOUCHER I RECEIVED YESTERDAY (BECAUSE I HAVE TO DISCARD MY GOOD-BUT-BROKEN 7612). HOWEVER, UNDER THE GENERAL CONDITIONS. THERE IS NO ADMINISTRATIVE MECHANISM FOR USING THIS VOUCHER. SVP, TELL ME STEP-BY-STEP EXACTLY HOW TO GET MY 20% REBATE. MERCI

I ALREADY HAVE AN "OUT-OF-WARRANTY-VOUCHER," BUT CAN FIND NO MECHANISM FOR RECOVERING THE REBATE. I HAVE PURCHASED A NEW PRINTER, ONE THAT WAS ON THE LIST OF ELIGIBLE PRINTERS FOR THIS VOUCHER PROGRAM, BUT AS USUAL, HP PROVIDES NO INFORMATION ON CLAIMING THE REBATE. PLEASE ADVISE!!!

Dear Rachel, Thank you for your "Private Msg," but I have to ask the question: "DID YOU BOTHER TO EVEN READ MY COMMENTS/QUESTION?" You HP support people are amazing...in your lack of comprehension of the problem. 1. I spent an hour on the phone with one of your tech support people (in the Phillippines), who determined the print mechanism on my HP7612 was bad. I asked her if I could take the print mechanism off my almost new but-about-to-go-to-the-city-dump 7612? She told me--subsequently--"NO, because the print mechanism on those printers are "FIXED."' So, I had to throw my 3rd 7612 printer in the trash. 2. I subsequently discovered on E-Bay all kinds of print mechanisms for 7612 printers, so obviously someone was able to remove them; i.e. they were NOT FIXED, & I could probably have salvaged one of those 7612s. 3. This lady in the Phillippines offered/sent to me an "Out of Warranty Voucher," so I could purchase a new HP printer from a list which appeared on the "Conditions General." I did so, including an additional 3-year extended warranty. I have the printer now in hand, it works, but to date, NO ONE @ HP HAS BOTHERED TO TELL ME HOW TO RECLAIM THE REBATE FROM THIS VOUCHER. 4. THAT is the crux of my msg, the one you responded to, but never got to the correct subject. Your standard 'canned' answer above is BS. NOW, WILL SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE ME THE EXACT PROCEDURE STEP-BY-STEP TO CLAIM MY REBATE FROM THE VOUCHER I HAVE, BUT NO ONE ACKNOWLEDGES. AND THIS IS JUST MY SHORT VERSION OF MY COMPLAINT!!!!!! JPC
