I don't see anything like you showed in your clips. When I search windows for HP,  this is what I get... no printer listed

When I open HP Smart, this is what I get:

And this is what my list of devices looks like:

Thank you for getting back to me, here is a link to download and install the full-featured drivers-https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-laserjet-pro-p1102-printer-series/4110394/model...

Install the drivers and then try and convert the connection.

Let me know how this goes!

I downloaded this a week ago and it made no difference.

And this is the box is opens. Should I uninstall everything first and try it again?

And again I go around in circles. After running the installer, this is what I get (the same thing I got when this mess started):

before, we uninstall the drivers, please help me with the below information.

I would like to know, is your router set to work on 2.4 GHz network or 5 GHz network band?

Let me know!

According to my network information is 5 GHz

Still hoping for some advice. I am beyond frustrated here.

The printer does not support 5GHz network , the printer only supports 2.4GHz network.

Would you be able to connect the printer to a 2.4GHz network?

Let me know!

I never changed anything on my router. It has both 2.4 and 5.0. Guess I'll have to figure out how to switch to the other one, though again I am not sure what changed.

I disabled the 5 GHz band and went to 2.4 only. It made no difference. I got the same error message, telling me it was connected but that it couldn't communicate with the computer. FYI, I've tried reinstalling this on more than one computer with the same result.
