Hi @pansko,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If your HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 4675 is connected to Wi-Fi and visible in HP Smart, but printing fails with a message like “not recognizable”, here’s how to fix it:

1. Check the Default Printer

  • On Windows:
    • Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
    • Make sure your DeskJet 4675 is set as the default printer.
  • On macOS:
    • Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners.
    • Ensure the correct printer is selected as the default.

2. Reinstall the Printer

  • Remove the printer from your system:
    • On Windows: Right-click the printer > Remove device.
    • On macOS: Select the printer > Remove (-).
  • Then, re-add it using HP Smart or Printers & Scanners.

3. Use HP Smart’s Diagnose & Fix Tool

  • Open the HP Smart app.
  • Click your printer > Diagnose & Fix.
  • Follow the on-screen steps to resolve any communication or driver issues.

4. Update Printer Drivers

5. Try Printing from Another App

  • If the issue happens only with PDFs, try printing from:
    • Adobe Acrobat Reader
    • Microsoft Edge
    • Or another PDF viewer

I hope this helps.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
