Once gain
Uninstalled everything, restart, blah, blah...
Reinstalled
Tried installing ("connecting") manually to connect to the Huawei router- still the same error, password isn't recognised
Connected to the phone ("router")- as soon as secured, even at a slower 2.4ghz network- password isn't recognised
Connected to the phone "unsecure" Wi-Fi- recognised network, recognised on (another) phone as networked printer.
Run software to connect printer to a recognised network via USB- worked, but noticed some notice ("printer will connect to a Wi-Fi network, not an internet network)!!!... still the same, as soon as I change settings in to WEP- password protected network- not getting connected or recognised.
Some weird "Universal Printing PS" popped up
gone back to
re-tried setting up wireless again
and got a print-out
Crucially I remembered old network security protocol WPA, whilst newer routers and phones are long time now
WPA-2 and higher.
I think, this is it wireless module is of old standard WPA, simply isn't processing WPA-2 + protocols, hence printer isn't connecting, unless in unsecured network, hence it can't be ("networked).
Lastly I shall find my old router, get it USB networked to my Huawei router for internet and I'll try new, from fresh networking, but key factors it would be WPA wireless and possibility to connect LAN (RJ45) cable connected if wireless wouldn't work.
tomorrow that.
Thanks for your help so far!
