Hi @FRANCO_R,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Printer Control Panel:
- Look at the printer’s control panel. The WPS PIN might be displayed temporarily after selecting the wireless connection setup.
Printed Information Sheet:
- During the initial setup or when attempting to connect to the network, the printer may print a page containing the WPS PIN and other relevant network settings.
Manual/Documentation:
- Consult the printer’s user manual for guidance on where to locate the WPS PIN. Most manuals will have steps for wireless setup, including WPS configuration.
HP Smart App:
- If you’re using the HP Smart app on your mobile device or computer, it may offer an option to display the WPS PIN during the setup process.
Access Router Settings:
- If the above steps do not display the WPS PIN, you can use the WPS button on your router to connect. Press the WPS button on your router and within two minutes, press the WPS button on your printer (if available), or follow the connection steps on your printer’s control panel.
I hope this helps.
