Hey, ive changed a router and since then I'm not able to connect my printer although the WIFI works and the HP smart recognizes the printer

but then It  gets to the page showing that its  "sending network information" but nothing happens for hours. and it disconcerts from the WIFI, altogh swing its still sending informatioon. I've tried multiple times, I've restated the computer and the router. All other devises that work with the WIFI works well

thanks

Hi EladSEG,

It sounds like you are using HP Smart on Windows to perform printer WiFi setup (Add Printer).

Do you have and Android or iOS device that you can try instead? HP Smart is also available on these platforms, but uses a slightly different procedure to configure the printer. Perhaps this would allow you to bypass the problem that you are seeing.

Thank for the answer.

i had this problem last time  my wifi has reset, and I learned this bypass 🙂 so at first ive used my smartphone to connect the printer and it did work.  last time after it was recognized by another device it was also recognized by the computer and it eventually connected. now it gets stuck in the middle
