Hi @KChm,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To connect your HP OfficeJet 4650 printer to your new Lenovo computer running Windows 11, despite the compatibility message, try the following steps.

Download and Install the Latest Drivers:

  • Go to the HP support website and search for your HP OfficeJet 4650.
  • Download the latest drivers and software compatible with Windows 11. Make sure you're getting the correct version for your printer model.

Use the Windows 11 Add Printer Feature:

  • Connect your printer to the computer via USB or WiFi.
  • Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners.
  • Click Add a Printer or Scanner.
  • Wait for your printer to appear in the list, then select it and follow the prompts to install.

HP Smart App:

  • Download the HP Smart app from the Microsoft Store.
  • Open the app and follow the setup instructions to connect your printer over Wi-Fi or USB.

Use Windows Update for Driver Installation:

  • Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.
  • Expand the Printers section, and if you see an unknown device or your printer listed with an exclamation mark, right-click and choose Update Driver.
  • Select Search automatically for updated driver software.

Check Compatibility:

  • While the printer may not officially list full Windows 11 support, it should still work using basic drivers. If you're still facing issues, the Windows 11 update may have changed some device compatibility.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
