Printer shows connected and prints correctly from any file - doc or pic. When trying to print from internet gives a message in the print box that the 'selected printer is not connected or cannot be found'. (Have reinstalled a number of times). Note: no problems with WiFi. This printer was at one time connected to this desktop with zero problems. At my wits end. Help appreciated!

HP Officejet 6600. Printer shows connected; internet connections excellent. I show connected everywhere in "settings", prints from files but will not print from internet. Have removed ALL printers and reinstalled to no avail. Get the same error message each time (selected printer not found.....or something to that effect). Note: This printer WAS at one time connected to this computer and worked fine. Was connected to another recently and worked fine with the same network. Now it's not working.
Frustrated....have downloaded all software and drivers 4x (at least). Windows update is current. Do not know where to go next!!! Help, please.

This seems to be a driver issue.
Did you uninstall the printer driver from the root level?
If not, follow these steps:-
Perform root level uninstallation to remove all the printer-related software.
- In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
- Select your HP printer.
- Select Uninstall.
- In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
- In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
- Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
- Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
- Click on Drivers tab.
- Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
- Select OK.
- Remove all instances of the same.
- Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
- Close Devices and Printers.
- Restart the PC again.
