Laser Jet MFPM140W

I lost my connectivity to Wi-Fi on my new one year old Laser Jet M140W.  WHen I tried to reach support, it didn’t recognize my serial number.  Finally, when I went to look at warranty — my serial number is associated with the wrong printer that is 10 year out of date.  How can I get support when it wont properly recognize my printer ??
