Common problems for Connectivity Issues

My HP Laser Jet Pro MFP M283fdw printer was installed but then showed status as "offline" or "unavailable".

 

The printer has a fixed IP address of 10.0.0.155 and I can see it on the network and access the printer settings through a browser using this IP address.

 

WiFi printing is OFF and the printer is on the physical network.

 

It was printing, but then stopped and became "unavailable" 

 

Other computers in the house continue to print perfectly, so it appears to be a problem with this computer.

 

I have restarted both devices multiple times.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.

I understand you are facing an issue with printing from one of your PC. Not to worry I will help you to resolve the issue.
As the printer is connected to the network and you are able to print from other devices. Seems like there is no issue with the printer connectivity.

I suggest you follow the steps from this document to fix the issue. (Click on the Word document to open the web page).


1) Un-install the HP Smart App and restart the PC from which you are not able to print, connect your PC to the same network, and re-install the HP Smart app.

2) Now use the HP smart app on your PC to add a printer. Use the link for reference.
