Hello. Recently, my family changed the router for my home, which caused us to change the Wi-Fi settings. For some reason, the wifi to my HP Printer is not connected, and I am having trouble connecting the wifi through the app. Would someone be able to help me?

Hi @Cathy812,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Certainly! Here’s a step-by-step guide to reconnect your HP Neverstop Laser MFP 1202w printer to your new Wi-Fi network.
Reset the Printer's Network Settings:
- Turn on the printer and wait until it’s ready.
- Navigate to the printer’s control panel (you might need to refer to your printer's manual for the exact menu names).
- Go to Setup > Network > Wireless Settings > Restore Network Settings.
- Confirm the reset.
Connect the Printer to the New Wi-Fi Network:
- On the printer’s control panel, go to Setup > Network > Wireless Setup Wizard.
- The printer will search for available networks. Select your new Wi-Fi network from the list.
- Enter the Wi-Fi password when prompted and connect.
Use the HP Smart App to Set Up:
- Open the HP Smart app on your smartphone or computer.
- If you haven’t already, add your printer to the app.
- Open the app and select Add Printer.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your new Wi-Fi network.
- If the app cannot detect your printer, ensure the printer is on the same network as your device and try reconnecting.
Check Printer’s Connectivity:
- Print a network configuration page from the printer to verify its connection status.
- Ensure the printer’s IP address matches your network settings.
Update Printer Drivers:
- Visit the HP website and download the latest drivers for your printer model to ensure compatibility with your new network setup.
If you encounter any issues or the printer still isn’t connecting, try restarting your router and printer and then attempt the setup again
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
