Printer and Mac not communicating

HP Recommended
Example: PavilionCP1025NW
macOS 10.15 Catalina

My printer is listed in the printer menu, but it will not print. There is no error message. It is not communicating with the Mac.

Hello, when your setting up your print driver, change your Protocol Setting to LPD (Line Printer Daemon) instead of IPP (internet Printing Protocol). If that still doesn't work try the JetDirect Protocol.

Hope this helps, thanks.
