Hi @Imperial2024,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I can help you troubleshoot the issue. Let's try a few steps.
- Check Network Settings on Printer: Can you access the control panel on your HP printer? Look for the network or wireless settings. You might be able to see the current network it's connected to or try to connect to a new one.
- Reset Printer Network Settings: If you can't find the network settings or the printer is still not connecting, you can try resetting the network settings on the printer. This usually involves pressing a combination of buttons on the printer's control panel. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to do this.
- Connect via WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup): If your router supports WPS, you can try connecting your printer to the Wi-Fi network using this method. On most routers, there's a WPS button that you press, and then you initiate WPS on your printer. This should establish a connection without needing to enter a password.
- Forget Old Network: If the printer is still trying to connect to the old Wi-Fi network, try telling it to forget that network. Again, this might be done through the printer's control panel.
- Update Printer Firmware: Sometimes, updating the firmware on your printer can resolve connectivity issues. Check HP's website for any available updates for your printer model and follow the instructions to update it.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
