Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.

Hello. I'm hoping someone can help me figure out what's wrong with my printer. It keeps disconnecting even though it's always powered on, WiFi is connected (and signal is fine), and wireless is on. Used to be able to send a print job anytime. Seems like since the new HP app was released, every time I go to print it's "not connected" which makes no sense.

This is extremely frustrating! I've already sunk a lot of time into trying to find an answer and following steps with no luck. For instance, the Web Services Diagnostic printout says I need to set up auto-updates and provides a URL that doesn't work (http://hpc85acf258362.local.) and I've tried modifying it to https and / at the end. Just get the browser message saying it can't be found.

The virtual assistant is useless and no one's around at support for me to communicate with. My schedule is the complete opposite of most people. I'm ready to lose it and never buy another HP printer again! Can someone please help?

Have physical disabilities that prevent me from getting up from where I am at times. It's one of the main reasons why I got a wireless printer. Have only had the printer for 3 or 4 years. It's not that old. It used to work great and I see no reason why it shouldn't still be working the same.

Thank you!

@JoylessPrinter, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query.

I'm really sorry to hear about the frustration you're experiencing with your printer, and I completely understand how important it is for you to have it functioning smoothly, especially with your specific needs.

To help you get this sorted, could you please share the model name or product number of your HP printer? That way, I can provide more specific troubleshooting steps and help you resolve the issue faster.

Looking forward to your response!

Take care and have a good day.

Hello, Garp_Senchau. Appreciate your reply. My apologies for missing that info. Thought it was included. Have a DeskJet 3755 all-in-one (see screenshot below). Right now it says it's asleep but when I posted the issue here it was disconnected for the umpteenth time. Showed as disconnected yesterday too. Thank you for any help you can provide.

Here's another screenshot. This shows the printer as not connected yet again.
