Yesterday I upgraded my cable to AT&T fiber cable and now the printer won't come online. I enter my password and it gives my the message that it is an invalid password. Ran a wireless network test and the Security setting failed. I tried doing some of the suggests from others online but nothing so far has worked. Any help please.

If your HP Envy 4500 printer is not connecting after a fiber internet upgrade, there could be several reasons for this issue. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the problem.

 

Check Network Connectivity:

  • Ensure that your fiber internet connection is working correctly on other devices, such as computers and smartphones. If other devices can connect to the internet, the issue may be specific to the printer.

Restart the Printer:

  • Turn off your HP Envy 4500 printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for a few minutes and then plug it back in and turn it on. This can often resolve connectivity issues.

Check Wi-Fi Settings on the Printer:

  • Make sure that the printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network. You may need to reconfigure the Wi-Fi settings on the printer to connect to your new fiber network. Refer to the printer's manual for instructions on how to do this.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Outdated firmware can sometimes cause connectivity problems. Check if there are any firmware updates available for your HP Envy 4500 printer and install them if necessary.

Restart Your Router/Modem:
