Let's try to reset the Printer here:
Reset the product
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
- Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
- Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.
Also, try connecting the Printer to a different wall outlet directly.

Hi from Sandbach Cheshire UK (where are you from?)
I gave up chasing for the answers.
I think it's normal for the Wi-Fi light to glow and the light above the paper feeder.
I think it's in sleep mode with these lights on? But I'm not sure.
I noticed when I scan the X lights up. But then it turns off.
So my assumption is its in sleep mode even with the WiFi light on and the blue light above the paper feeder?
Cheers Mike
