Hi @Nankumar,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I understand that your error code 0x00000775 can occur when there are issues with the network printer setup, particularly related to sharing and connecting client PCs. Here are some steps to resolve the issue and successfully share the HP LaserJet 1020 Plus printer on Windows 11.

Verify Printer Sharing Settings:

  • On the host PC, click Start, go to Settings, and then Devices.
  • Select Printers & Scanners, click on your HP LaserJet 1020 Plus printer, and select Printer properties.
  • Go to the Sharing tab and ensure Share this printer is checked.

Configure Network Sharing Settings:

  • On the host PC, click Start, go to Settings, and then Network & Internet.
  • Go to the Status and click Network and Sharing Center.
  • Click Change advanced sharing settings.
  • Under File and printer sharing, select Turn on file and printer sharing.

Confirm Network Visibility:

  • Ensure the host PC and client PCs are on the same network and workgroup/domain.
  • On both PCs, use Windows Key + R, type cmd, and press Enter.
  • Use the ping command to confirm network connectivity between the PCs.

Driver Compatibility:

  • Ensure that you have the latest printer drivers installed on both the host and client PCs. You can download them from the HP Support website.

Update Windows:

  • Ensure that both PCs have the latest updates from Windows Update.

Network Discovery:

  • Ensure that Network Discovery is enabled on both PCs. This can be configured in the Network and Sharing Center.

Reinstalling Printer Drivers

  • Remove and Reinstall Printer on Client PC.
  • Delete the printer from the Devices and Printers section on the client PC.
  • Re-add the printer and ensure it connects via the network.

Take care and have an amazing day!
