I’m here to help you troubleshoot this issue and get everything back to shipshape. Just follow these steps below, and we’ll have you sailing smoothly in no time:

 

  • Ensure the paper is properly loaded and not too high or low in the tray. The paper should be aligned with the paper guides.
  • Remove any paper from the tray, reload it, and make sure it is stacked neatly.
  • Open all areas of the printer (paper tray, rear access, etc.) to make sure there are no paper jams.
  • Dust or dirt can cause issues with feeding. Use a soft cloth to clean the rollers inside the printer.
  • Ensure that the printer settings are set for the correct paper size and type.
  • Turn the printer off and on again to reset the system.
  • Make sure your printer’s drivers are up to date by visiting the HP support website.
