Printer hacked

Recently went to a HP website to update my credit card information for ordering ink and the tech hacked my computer now it’s being wiped but can I trust my printer when I get my computer back

I'm guessing you were never anywhere near an HP site.

The printer is fairly primitive -- it's unlikely whatever happened to the computer involved the printer.
